Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides several public access routes, yet custody still controls the answer. Floyd County Sheriff keeps jail, booking, warrant, and sheriff report material. Court clerks keep charges, dockets, and dispositions for their own courts. GCIC maintains the fingerprint-supported state history, while the Georgia Department of Corrections and Georgia Sex Offender Registry serve narrower purposes. The site's role is to arrange the official contacts, portals, fees, and request steps by record type.

Only the issuing sheriff, court, or GCIC channel can provide an official criminal record. This site can identify the custodian, but it cannot issue the document.
